This card began as a sunflower drawing, to represent the poison sunflowers pull from the earth. The drawing is paired with the text: let's uproot the poison within society. 'Let's Decolonize Our Minds Each and Every Day' is written in fancy font. The card connects the sender and receiver in the love work of unpacking and cleaning out all the ways in which colonization and racism have formed our world, our education systems, and our lives.

The inside of the card is blank for your message. Each card is 4.25 x 5.5" [A2 size] and comes with a brown envelope made from recycled paper. Original design and artwork by me and printed by a small printshop in Philadelphia, PA, USA. It is protected in a plastic sleeve and shipped safely. I ship with mostly recycled materials and am always working on bettering my production methods to create as small an environmental footprint as possible with my work as an artist.
