At Home in Sharswood, in collaboration with Linda Fernandez. 2025

This mural is an I-Spy and features a map of the neighborhood with the many special places and historical figures from Sharswood. We created it with Live and Learn, as part of an effort to incorporate Playful Learning into public spaces. The mural is installed in the community kitchen at 2000 Ridge Avenue, a new affordable housing building. Our other partners on this project include: Lower North Philadelphia Community Development Corporation, Brewerytown Sharswood Community Civic Association, and Brewerytown Sharswood Neighborhood Coalition on this design and the team of partners: Watchdog, PLLAN, MGD, WRT, Pennrose. 17’x8’

Love Letter to What Holds Us Up with Walls for Justice, in collaboration with St. Marks Church. 2023

This mural is steeped in the things in our lives that support our mental health and make us feel good each day. Members of the St Marks community, Walls for Justice, and Joy Best of Revive Art Journaling collaborated with me on reflective arts activities and prompts, which led to the design and completion of this mural for the community room.

Agassiz School: Collaborative Desk Mural

A collaborative one-day project with City Year Boston service workers to beautify the front desk at the Agassiz Elementary School in Jamaica Plain, Boston, MA. 2009

The desk mural was inspired from student photos the City Year corps members had taken, and the school’s mantra “L.R.C. Students”. We did this in one evening after school, to provide some quick upbeat colors for the front desk using donated paints.
